Stefaan Poedts is full professor in applied mathematics at the KU Leuven (Belgium).He published more than 565 articles on plasma physics of the Sun and space weather. Currently, his research is focusing on modeling of the solar atmosphere and CME evolution in the heliospheric wind. He is involved in several EU Horizon and ESA projects on these subjects
